Terms of Service for SayPaste AI

By purchasing or using SayPaste AI from saypaste.com, you agree to these terms.
1. Product & License
SayPaste AI is a downloadable Windows desktop application (speech-to-text using Whisper). You are purchasing a license, not the software itself. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use SayPaste on up to [3] Windows devices you own or control. You may not resell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute the software except where prohibited by law.
2. Privacy & Offline Processing
SayPaste runs entirely on your computer. Audio and transcripts are processed locally; we do not transmit your content to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
3. System Requirements
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). Quad-core CPU (Intel Core i5/i7 or AMD Ryzen 5/7 recommended), 16 GB RAM recommended, microphone. ARM processors are not supported.
4. Payment, Pricing & Taxes
Payments are securely processed by FastSpring (merchant of record). Prices may be shown in your local currency; taxes (e.g., VAT/GST) are calculated automatically based on your billing location and any valid tax ID.
5. Delivery
After purchase, you receive a download link on the confirmation page and by email. Download links may expire after a period; if a link expires, contact support for assistance.
6. Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, email support@saypaste.com within 14 days of purchase and include your order ID. If a refund is granted, your license is revoked and you must uninstall SayPaste.
EU digital content notice: If you choose to download or access the software immediately, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal may be lost once the download/use begins, as permitted by EU law.
7. Updates
Minor updates and bug fixes may be provided free of charge. Major upgrades or new features may be offered separately.

9. Third-Party Components
SayPaste includes third-party components under their respective licenses, including OpenAI Whisper (MIT) and FFmpeg (GPLv3). Notices and licenses are provided in the app and/or on our website.
10. Warranty Disclaimer
SayPaste is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; your statutory rights may apply.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your SayPaste license in the 12 months preceding the claim. Consumer rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your license if you materially breach these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using SayPaste and uninstall it.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Non-exclusive place of jurisdiction is Augsburg, Germany. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.

We may update these terms; the current version is posted here with the “Last updated” date.
